Day at the Museum

IMG_3477

My favourite place in Dublin is the Natural History Museum, so no better place to visit on a rainy afternoon. It’s such a pity the upper floors are closed, but there is still LOTS to see!

The outfit for the visit is a cream and dark gold silk matching dress and coat, 1960s style, with matching hat, of course. The coat is a collarless swing style in cream silk with dark gold silk lining.

The shift dress is matching cream silk with contrasting dark gold patch pockets and contrast stitch detailing on the bodice.

The hat is dark gold silk with cord bow.

I really love matching coats and dresses!

Lady of the Manor

IMG_3430

I love working with silk and this frock is made from vintage lilac coloured raw silk, it is perfect for

dolls clothes. It needed a little something so I added something not so little, a rather large white bow!

But isn’t it pretty??

These shots were taken at Newbridge House in Donabate, the house and gardens are beautiful.
